Academic integrity is ‘a commitment, even in the face of adversity, to six fundamental values: honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage. From these values flow principles of behaviour that enable academic communities to translate ideals to action'.1

Academic integrity is a quality associated with high standards of scholarship and is a responsibility of both staff and students.

  • Upcoming workshop: Check for Integrity, Friday 11 April 2025, 11:30am - 1pm.ÌýIf you are responsible for marking, this session will prepare you to detect the signs and signals that may indicate breaches of the Academic Integrity Policy. It will include both document and technical indicators for a number of types of cheating. Academic Integrity Officers will share learnings from their experience. Facilitated by the Academic Integrity T
