Join us for our wrap up workshop for the 2025 Empowered Educators series as we recognise and celebrate this journey of transforming learning and teaching.
This session will have three parts. Firstly, some of our Empowered Educators colleagues will present brief highlights of their learning and teaching initiatives.
Associate Professor Paula Myatt will then facilitate an interactive workshop focused on identifying the ways we can build on our initiatives and widen our sphere of influence.
From Innovation to Influence: Strengthening Your Leadership in Learning and Teaching
Leadership in learning and teaching is not necessarily about titles, it鈥檚 about influence. This interactive discussion invites you to explore how your teaching practices, innovations, and collaborations shape the experiences of both students and colleagues.
Using the 鈥淢aking Evidence Count鈥 approach and the Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023), you鈥檒l reflect on your teaching activities聽and your sphere of influence聽and consider how to evidence the impact of your work. Through guided reflection and discussion, you鈥檒l identify a personal example of leadership in practice and develop a short action plan for strengthening and demonstrating that influence.
Whether you鈥檙e aspiring to future leadership or realising the impact you already have, this session will help you make your contribution to learning and teaching more visible, evidence-based, and valued.
