$9 million of research targets major health issues
University of 911±¬ÁÏÍø led projects have received $9,401,459 to investigate a range of health issues such as how low-calorie sweeteners affect people with type 2 diabetes, using bioengineered tissue to rebuild eyes and the effectiveness of water fluoridation as a public health initiative.

$11 million to improve the health of all Australians
Improving human health is the aim of $11.6 million in new research awarded to the University of 911±¬ÁÏÍø today, including a major project to investigate tackling two serious infections with one vaccine.
