From Ambition to Action: 2025 Sam Luxton Memorial Lecture Reflections

The Luxton Memorial Lecture is presented by the Centre for Energy Technology, and The Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources in honour of Professor Russell Escourt 'Sam' Luxton, FTS, FIEAust, FAIE, FRSAMC, FRSA (1933-2013).听Alison Reeve, Energy and Climate Change Program Director at the Grattan Institute, presented 鈥淔rom ambition to action: policy to deliver Australia鈥檚 net zero ambitions鈥, followed by a panel discussion with Susan Jeanes, Professor Gus Nathan, Professor Melissa Nursey-Bray, and Professor Peter Draper.

The HILT CRC has today, 30 June 2021, been awarded $39 million in cash support over 10 years from the Australian Government to unlock more than $175 million investment from its partners which are located around the country, and fund the leading collaborative venture between heavy industry, government and researchers, who will accelerate this transition read more.
