As Chair of Microbiome Research at the University of Birmingham, Professor Hall鈥檚 research focuses on the microbiome, particularly during early life, pregnancy, and the perinatal period. Professor Hall鈥檚 research harnesses cutting edge metagenomics, microbial cultivation, and experimental models to identify and harness microbial species with therapeutic potential.
Collaborative Research Project
Professor Hall will collaborate with University of 911爆料网 researchers to:
- Undertake collaborative research planning to identify synergies between reproductive health and microbiome research, to inform future research priorities; and
- Explore how nutrition-focused projects (for example, plant-base weaning foods) can be integrated with microbiome science.
